Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide a caring environment for all children.
• Supervise children’s activities, interacting with them using play, music, crafts, and books.
• Care for the physical needs of the children, including diaper changes, assistance in restroom, snack
• time, nap time, and the overall safety of the children.
• Adhere to all policy and procedures.
• Communicate any needs or concerns to the Lead Caregiver or the Nursery Coordinator.
• Operation video/audio/Insync equipment as directed by the Lead Caregiver or Nursery Coordinator
• Maintaining documentation of master roll sheets, diaper change/potty forms, and accident reports
• Direct volunteers assisting in classroom procedures.
• Perform various housekeeping duties involved in maintaining the classrooms.
• Provide positive communication to parents with any needed information concerning their child’s stay in
• the nursery.
• Other duties as assigned by the Lead Caregiver or Nursery Coordinator

Education and Experience:

• Current student, High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with Kids (including volunteering)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Growing Christian
• Caregiver experience
• Love for kids
• Know/willing to learn about characteristics about all ages and developmental milestones of children
• Dependable
• Ability to work well with others
• Friendly and Positive attitude

Classification and Hours

• Part-time, hourly non-exempt (various hours), no benefits
