Arundel Metrics, Inc. (AMI) is a public health research and analytics firm that excels at analyzing and presenting complex data. We create insights for our clients through the analysis, interpretation, and visualization of complex health, economic and social data. Our mission is to end inequities and improve the health and well-being of all individuals and communities.
We have been the data people behind America's Health Rankings® for the last 32 years. America's Health Rankings Annual Report, America's Health Rankings Senior Report, and America’s Health Rankings Health of Women and Children Report present relative rankings of state health and are used by numerous organizations and government entities for goal and strategy setting. The report is distributed nationwide and reported in local and national print and electronic media. AMI gathers and analyzes secondary data to write and publish these three reports annually and is responsible for content on America's Health Rankings® website.
AMI has a full-time opportunity for a highly motivated person to join our organization to help prepare the above reports and contribute to other projects. Job responsibilities include identifying relevant health metrics and their respective data sources, collecting, analyzing and managing data, and summarizing the data and relevant literature in written formats. The role is a mix of analytical data scientist and data storyteller. This role is 100% remote.
