Artemis Creek, LLC is seeking a Facilities Specialist to support day-to-day facilities operations for a Federal client in Washington, DC. This is a fully onsite role that requires a physically active presence throughout the facility and the ability to respond quickly to emerging issues.


What you'll do:

  • Be onsite 8 hours daily during core hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work as needed
  • Respond quickly to DC-area buildings in the event of a facilities emergency
  • Walk multiple floors and stairwells daily, up to 12 flights, as part of routine building inspections
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs to identify facilities issues before they escalate
  • Escort non-cleared personnel completing facilities work such as carpet replacement, plumbing repairs, painting, and other routine maintenance
  • Communicate findings to DOJ federal personnel in writing and verbally, weekly or immediately if urgent
  • Support meeting preparation and related coordination tasks, without serving as a representative of the client in external-facing capacities


What you'll need:

  • Basic understanding of facilities and operational management
  • Demonstrated project management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently in an active, occupied federal facility
  • Ability to move throughout a multi-story building regularly, including climbing stairs


This role is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, physically capable of daily walk-throughs across multiple floors, and comfortable working in a fast-paced federal facility environment.

Salary

$48 - $55 per hour
