Requirements:

·        2+ years of residential or commercial property management experience in lease negotiation and administration.

·        A minimum of one year experience in a customer service-related industry and one year residential leasing experience, OR a combination of accounting skills/education with customer service experience is preferred.

·        Applicants for the job must have a car and be willing to visit properties as needed.

·        A California real estate license is Required.

·        Experience using property management software AppFolio or a similar property management software.

·        Spanish speaking is a plus.

·        Ability to multitask and prioritize

Job Responsibilities:

The job of the Leasing Agent and Field Associate will include working with a team and individually on daily tasks and annual projects related to property management, leasing, and maintenance, including, but not limited to:

·        Leasing and Contractual Agreements: Conducting showings, reviewing applications, and drafting leases.

·        Property Inspections

·        Tenant Move-in/Move-out.

·        Rental Evaluations & Marketing Campaigns

·        Posting Notices

·        Rent Collections: Monthly rent receivables.

·        Delinquencies: Collecting past due rents, maintaining communication with tenants and landlords

·        Maintenance/Repairs/Remodeling: Ensuring work order and repair requests are processed in a timely fashion and communicated regularly to tenant and landlord

·        Resolving Tenant Complaints: Addressing and resolving tenant issues.

·        Special Projects: Assisting with various projects as needed.

·        Direct Assistance: Supporting the Manager and President directly.
