Our kitchen prepares food from scratch using recipes and techniques passed down through generations, including traditional kabobs, rice dishes, breads, appetizers, and Afghan specialties. Ariana Kabab is an upscale fast-casual Afghan restaurant opening at 1737 S Orange Ave in SoDo, Orlando. We serve Zabiha halal kebabs, rice, and traditional Afghan dishes with counter service and a warm, welcoming dining room. As the only Afghan restaurant in the area, we expect a busy weekday lunch crowd from Orlando Health and a steady flow of families and halal diners.

We are looking for cashiers and front-of-house team members who are friendly, dependable, and calm under pressure. You will be the face of Ariana Kabab.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and help them navigate the menu, including explaining Afghan dishes to first-time guests

Take orders accurately at the counter and process payments on the POS

Assemble, package, and hand off orders for dine-in, takeout, and online pickup

Run food to tables, check on guests, refill tea and drinks, and clear and reset tables

Keep the counter, dining room, drink station, and restrooms clean and stocked

Handle guest questions and concerns politely and involve a manager when needed

Complete opening, closing, and side-work checklists

Follow food safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures

Qualifications

Restaurant, cafe, or retail customer service experience preferred but not required

Clear, friendly communication and a positive attitude

Comfortable working quickly during busy lunch and dinner rushes

Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Reliable and punctual with flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Familiarity with Afghan, Persian, or Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus

Full-time and part-time positions available. Training provided. Free shift meals.
