We are seeking a motivated and caring Registered Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care. As a pediatric dental assistant, you will work closely with our pediatric dentists to provide a safe and comfortable experience for our patients, assisting with various clinical and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the pediatric dentist during procedures, including cleanings, exams, fillings, and other treatments.
• Take and develop digital X-rays.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques.
• Maintain patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of all patients.
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current Texas RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification.
• Pediatric dental experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or must obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
