Argus Diagnostic Managment Inc is hiring a part-time office clerk for our onsite team in Woodmere, NY to assist in the management of various paper and digital document workflows.
WHO ARE WE:
Argus Diagnostics Manages X-Ray and Ultrasound technologists in multiple regions across who provide imaging services at the patient's bedside. Whether in a skilled nursing facility, hospice, or in a patient home, we bring the imaging technology to the patient in situations where a doctor has determined that a patient is unable to travel. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team and assist in managing multiple paper and digital workflows.
WHO ARE YOU:
You are a computer savvy solver who is detail oriented, love checking tasks off of to-do-lists and can dependently complete tasks on your own. You may be interested in a career in healthcare administration, medical billing, or you may just be looking for part time work and find this post interesting!
WHAT IS THE JOB:
In one sentence: It's opening paper and e-mail and digitally filing all correspondences appropriately.
Of course, there is more to that, including but not limited to:
- Answer, filter, and forward incoming phone calls
- Sorting incoming mail and scanning them into their appropriate locations
- Processing and responding to incoming e-mails.
- Entering Data into appropriate systems and spreadsheets.
- Documenting processes
- Assist and follow-up on tasks assigned by management.
- Deposit checks and processing credit card payments.
This is an onsite position that will require a minimum of 20 hours a week, but with opportunity to grow.

REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE:
- 1 Year Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Comfortable communication with conferencing solutions such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Eligible to work in the US.
- Able to work onsite in our office in Woodmere, NY
NICE TO HAVE:
- Extensive familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in Healthcare offices
- Familiarity with Medical Billing practices
- Understanding of HIPAA
