Arctic Slope Community Foundation Fundraising Coordinator (Alaska - Work from Home) Anchorage, AK · Remote · Full time

Responsible for organizing activities to raise funds or otherwise solicit and gather monetary donations or other gifts on behalf of Arctic Slope Community Foundation.


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist with the planning and management of fundraising initiatives.
  2. Oversee the implementation and execution of the organization’s fundraising strategy to meet year-end goals. 
  3. Develop, prepare, write, and submit grants, proposals, applications, and reporting.
  4. Stay current with foundation trends and giving priorities.
  5. Maintain a fundraising calendar of events and solicitations. 
  6. Identify potential business partners as sponsors.
  7. Maintain donor management system. 
  8. Maintain communications with supporters and current donors.
  9. Assist in creating the annual fundraising plan.
  10. Contribute creative ideas for new fundraising opportunities.
  11. Manage the foundation's charitable gaming operations.
  12. Keep financial records of fundraising revenue and expenses and work with the Accounting & Finance Department to see that all items are coded correctly. 
  13. Other duties as assigned. 

Skills & Qualifications

  1. Four-year college degree preferred or four-year experience in fundraising/event planning.
  2. Highly detailed and organized; possesses exceptional writing skills needed for fundraising and reporting; communicates effectively and openly.
  3. Works independently without supervision and can work cohesively with a team.


$30 - $34 per hour
