We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy physical outdoor work and have an interest in horticulture, fine gardening, or landscape maintenance. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in detailed work, works well on a team, and wants to continue developing hands-on gardening skills in a high-standard environment. This is a full-time, year-round outdoor position working on private estate properties throughout Kitsap County.

Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with garden maintenance, including weeding, watering, mulching, and general upkeep
  • Learn proper plant care techniques and horticultural best practices
  • Operate and maintain garden tools and equipment under supervision
  • Participate in seasonal cleanups and garden preparation
  • Support senior gardeners during landscape projects and installations
  • Safely transport materials and equipment when needed
  • Communicate clearly with team members and follow direction
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and attention to detail


Position Requirements:

  • Interest in horticulture, gardening, or landscape maintenance
  • Basic plant identification knowledge preferred
  • Fine gardening or landscape maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, dig, and perform physical work throughout the day
  • Reliable transportation and strong punctuality
  • Willingness to learn and follow detailed direction
  • Truck and trailer experience strongly preferred
