The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to patients at Arbor Wellness. This role involves conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing medication management. You will work collaboratively with our team of therapists and other clinicians to ensure integrated and effective patient care, with opportunities for both in-person and telehealth service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for new patients to determine diagnoses and treatment needs.


Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans.


Prescribe, monitor, and manage psychotropic medications.


Provide ongoing follow-up care and medication management services.


Collaborate closely with therapists, medical staff, and other team members to coordinate patient care.


Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.


Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medications.


Qualifications & Skills

Licensure: Must possess a current, active, and unrestricted license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the State of Nevada.


Education: Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited nursing program.


Experience: Experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly preferred.


Populations: Experience working with both adult and child/adolescent populations is a plus.


Skills: Strong diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
