Community Outreach Specialist, part-time, Las Vegas NV

We are hiring a part-time Community Outreach Specialist to be the friendly face of Arbor Wellness across the Las Vegas valley. If you like meeting new people, are comfortable walking into an office you have never been to before, and want a flexible weekday schedule that fits around classes or another commitment, this is a great fit.

What you'll do

• Visit primary care, pediatric, OB/GYN, urgent care, and behavioral health offices across Las Vegas, Summerlin, Henderson, Spring Valley, and North Las Vegas to introduce Arbor Wellness and drop off brochures, referral pads, and business cards

• Build ongoing relationships with front-office staff, referral coordinators, and providers

• Explain clearly what we do and don't do: we provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management, which makes us a natural referral partner for therapists rather than a competitor

• Keep a simple log of every office visited, who you spoke with, and what follow-up is needed

• Restock materials at partner offices and follow up on a set cadence

• Represent Arbor Wellness at community events, school functions, and health fairs around the valley

• Report back weekly on which offices are engaged and what questions come up

A typical week

Two or three half-days in the field, working a mapped route through an assigned area of the Las Vegas valley: Summerlin one day, Henderson or the southwest the next. Most stops are five to ten minutes. Introduce yourself, leave materials, get a name, note the follow-up. Then a short weekly check-in at our Sahara Ave office with the practice administrator.

What we're looking for

• An outgoing, warm personality. This role lives or dies on whether people are glad to see you walk in.

• Comfortable with cold introductions and not discouraged by an occasional "not today"

• Professional, polished, and reliable. You are often the first impression of a healthcare practice.

• Organized enough to keep clean visit notes and follow through on what you said you'd do

• Comfortable with Google Sheets, email, and a phone-based CRM

• Discreet and respectful of patient confidentiality

Requirements

• Valid Nevada driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance

• Available weekday daytime hours, and able to carry brochure boxes and materials into offices

• Must pass a background check and complete HIPAA training before the first field visit

• High school diploma or equivalent. Coursework in marketing, communications, business, public health, or psychology is a plus.

• Prior experience in sales, retail, hospitality, campus ambassador work, promotions, or healthcare front office is a plus but not required. We will train the right personality.

• $16 to $21 per hour depending on experience
