AquaWorks is a small and active engineering firm specializing in small water and wastewater systems in Colorado. Candidates must be experienced with Colorado Department of Public Health (CDPHE) requirements including Regulation 22, DR-1, Regulation 11, and Primary Drinking Water Regulations. Candidates must be self-starters that can work with a great deal of autonomy both in the office and the field.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning, design and construction administration of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Prepare Capital Improvement Plans
• Prepare Site Application, Process Design, and Final Engineering Reports
• Prepare grant and loan funding applications
• Develop construction documents
• Perform construction observation and field engineering services

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely related field
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the water and wastewater engineering discipline, water and wastewater treatment design preferred
• Professional Engineering licensure
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation
• Experience working with municipalities
• Progressive experience in planning, design, permitting and construction administration of civil infrastructure improvements
• Physically able to perform work in the field
• Up to 40% travel within the State of Colorado
