Job Description

 

AOP is searching for a skilled service technician to install, service, and repair a variety of printers, copiers, and scanners. In this role you, you will be required to set up new systems, perform routine maintenance, and resolve technical issues. You should be able to accurately diagnose faulty equipment and implement effective repairs. To ensure success as a service technician, you should demonstrate problem-solving abilities and be able to provide exceptional customer service with in-depth training and support. This position works closely with the purchasing and logistics team as well as other service technicians and reports directly to the service manager.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Install new printers, copiers, scanners, and copier management software
  • Provide routine service and maintenance to copiers, scanners, and printers
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning cartridges, printers, and copiers
  • Provide demonstrations and customer training
  • Complete service tickets accurately and timely
  • Manage inventory of new equipment, parts, and materials
  • Provide excellent customer support and service
  • Manage schedules and prioritize customer needs

 

 

Required Experience/Skills

 

  • Experience with technology equipment troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Detailed knowledge of computer and copier management software such as MS Office, Ricoh, and Kyocera
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle
  • Technical degree or certification is a plus

 

Physical Demands

 

  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, reach as necessary to repair equipment
  • Occasional need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
