Anyware Robotics is seeking highly skilled Senior Software Architect - Robotics to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting software solutions for a high DOF robotics system. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the fields of robotic systems, creating solid software development practices, and mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of robust and scalable architectures for robotic systems. Define architecture blueprints that optimize performance, reliability, and scalability in deployment environments.
- Ensure seamless integration between hardware and software components, focusing on optimizing system performance and resource utilization.
- Contribute to the overarching technical strategy for robotics systems. Identify opportunities for innovation, process refinement, and technological advancements to propel the evolution of robotic solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of robotic systems in production environment.
- Participate in other duties and projects as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics or relevant engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in software architecture development.
- 2+ years of experience in robotics system architecture.
- Strong software development skills in C++ and Python for complex function-based software that interacts with sensor inputs, control loops, and redundancy.
- Proficiency in working with open-source libraries relevant to robotics.
- Experience in developing and delivering complete software products that meet rigorous functional and safety-critical requirements.
- Self-motivated, proactive, with confidence and initiative for innovation.
