About Anyware

Anyware Robotics builds general-purpose mobile manipulator robots for industrial applications. Our robots are trusted by customers across logistics, retail, and manufacturing, supporting applications such as truck unloading, mobile palletizing, and machine tending.

The Role

We are seeking a resourceful and adaptable HR Generalist to support our growing team in a fast-paced startup environment. This role covers a broad range of HR and operations work, with a strong focus on recruiting, HR operations, and building a high-performance culture.

You're hands-on and proactive, pick up new processes and AI tools quickly, and are excited to help build HR practices from the ground up as we grow.

What You’ll Do

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Support full-cycle recruiting for engineers, roboticists, and business professionals — from job postings and sourcing through interview coordination, offers, and handoff to onboarding.
  • Maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs; keep candidate information and hiring progress accurate and up to date in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Deliver a responsive, professional candidate experience that reflects Anyware’s culture.
  • Support employer branding initiatives (careers page, job postings, social content, events) that position Anyware as a top workplace for robotics and AI talent.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Support employee relations, benefits administration, payroll coordination, performance management, and day-to-day HR administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS, support compliance with California and federal employment requirements, and take on other projects as priorities change.
  • Streamline People systems and workflows, using automation and AI where it helps.

Onboarding & Employee Engagement

  • Run a seamless onboarding experience that helps new hires get productive quickly and feel part of the team from day one.
  • Drive engagement through regular feedback, recognition programs, team-building events, and off-sites.

Company Value & Culture

  • Partner with the People Ops Lead and leadership team to promote and reinforce a culture of integrity, innovation, mission-driven execution, and high performance across the company.

Office Operations

  • Coordinate daily office operations (supplies, vendors, facilities, and equipment) to keep the workplace organized and running smoothly.
  • Provide basic accounting support, including organizing invoices, receipts, and expense records.

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of experience in an HR Generalist, People Ops or telennt requisition role.
  • Hands-on recruiting experience, including ATS and HRIS tools.
  • Experience supporting benefits, payroll, performance management, or employee relations.
  • Working knowledge of California employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Uses AI tools to automate routine work and improve efficiency.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and frequently changing priorities.
  • Passion for building teams and fostering a collaborative, mission-driven, high-performance workplace.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a startup, high-growth, or tech/hardware company.
  • Experience recruiting technical talent (engineering, robotics, AI).
  • Experience with office administration, basic accounting, or expense-management tools.
  • Experience planning engagement programs, recognition initiatives, or company events.

Why Anyware

  • Real Impact, From Day One: Every person you help hire and onboard shapes the robots we deploy at customer sites across logistics, retail, and 3PL. You'll see your impact in the team we build and the products they ship.
  • Ground Floor, Real Ownership: Our team is doubling every year. That means real responsibility early, room to shape how we hire, onboard, and grow our people, and meaningful equity in a company at its inflection point.
  • A Team Built to Win: You'll work alongside a top-tier team with a track record to match, including six Best Paper Awards and Finalists (ICRA 2025 and ICRA 2024 among them) and back-to-back Best Innovation Awards for Pixmo at ProMat 2025 and MODEX 2026, the largest logistics automation exhibitions in North America. It's a rare group, and you'd be joining just as physical AI moves into real-world industrial deployment.
