The Role 

We are seeking a skilled Deployment Engineer to join our team to play the bridge between our customers and engineering teams. As a Deployment Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful evaluation, installation, configuration, and integration of our robots into diverse environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer support, to deliver seamless deployment solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. 

What You'll Do 

• Travel to customer facilities to install and setup robotics systems according to project timelines, specifications and KPIs.  
• Document deployment processes, procedures and best practices for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.   
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve any deployment-related issues promptly. 
• Communicate regularly with customers to provide training, address concerns, gather feedback, and ensure high levels of satisfaction with our product and services. 
• Communicate feedback to engineering to drive product development and improvement.
• Service the robot when necessary.

Requirements 

• BS or MS in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. 
• 2+ years of professional experience deploying and supporting robotics or automation solutions. 
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX environments, ROS, and scripting in Python. 
• Familiarity with installing robotics work cells or mechanical fixtures.
• Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision  
• Willingness to travel to customer sites 75% of the time.  

 

Nice to Have 

• Experience deploying robotic systems in warehouses, logistics, or other industrial environments.

Compensation 

The expected salary range for this role is 90k-140K USD/year, depending on experience, qualifications, location and employment type.

Additional compensation may include equity, benefits, or other incentives, where applicable.
