The UX/UI Designer will work side by side with our creative team to create an array of digital solutions. Your position within our company is responsible for UX/UI design, website build-outs, creative writing, and collaboration on digital marketing efforts, both internally and externally. UX/UI designers must have a solid understanding of graphic design and web technologies. Experience with the following software is vital to this position: Adobe/Affinity and Figma. UX/UI designers don’t always need to code, but it can help to understand the basics of languages like HTML and CSS. UX/UI designers must also have the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and a drive to keep their skills and industry knowledge current.

Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with project team
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, process flows and sitemaps to illustrate and present design ideas
  • Collaborate with project team to evaluate the product before presenting solutions to improve the visual and interactive experience
  • Create high-fidelity user interface designs
  • Present design concepts and ideas to colleagues, executive members, and clients
  • Ensure a standard is maintained when it comes to style, fonts, colors, and images
  • Conduct regular research on user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with all of the industry’s trends, software, and best practices
  • Create and implement website content
  • Audit websites and propose recommended improvements
  • Set up and build out websites utilizing Wordpress CMS
  • Handle support requests and correspond with clients
  • Creative writing and copy editing
  • Work with team to establish digital marketing solutions both internally and externally
  • Maintain general SEO awareness
  • Be available to handle incoming calls or walk-ins
  • Assist with Superior Shop
  • Graphic design and basic video editing
