Job Requirements include:

·      High School Diploma, or equivalent

·      Veterinary Technician experience (1+ years) required, CVT/RVT are welcome

·      Placing IV catheters, administering injections- IV, IM &/or SQ 

·      Knowledge of radiograph & ultrasound positioning and imaging

·      Anesthesia monitoring 

·      Animal restraint (radiography, ultrasounds, medication administration, etc.)

·      Phlebotomy

·      Basic knowledge and usage of laboratory equipment

·      Enter and maintain computerized complete accurate medical records

·      Assessment of patients- (routine/critical/trauma/triage)                                                                     

·      Detail orientated, motivated and compassionate

·      Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

·      Communication skills- both written and verbal

·      Availability nights, weekends, holidays

·      Professional, friendly and upbeat attitude
