Technicians at AOAH are extremely involved with client and patient care. Qualified candidates should have strong communication skills, multi-tasking capabilities, be able to work within a fast-paced environment, have a team player mentality, possess a mature work ethic, and have strong technical skills. Skill sets required, but not limited to, IV catheter placement, phlebotomy, anesthetic induction and monitoring, dental radiographs, working knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology, and radiographic positioning.
Position is Monday-Friday with no weekends and no boarding or on-call. Must have reliable transportation and be over 18 years old. Need to be able to lift more than 50lbs. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates' or bachelor's degree preferred.
Registered Veterinary Technician preferred, but candidates with 3 or more years of animal medical care will be considered.
Pay commensurate with experience.
