Pet parents can join in on the fun from work or home by watching their pups on the webcams. We stop at nothing to make sure dogs are happy, safe and fulfilled so their pet parent picks up a happy dog who will be begging them to bring them back for my daycare. Dogtopia offers award-winning dog daycare, boarding and spa services (with some offering grooming and training), our core service is daycare for dogs. We love and care for all dogs like they’re our own and are dedicated to helping them become a well-balanced pup.

We are looking for dog lovers who are eager to learn about dog behavior and become experts in working with dogs. We provide extensive training.

This position is for Dogtopia of Historic Phoenix, but we operate several locations throughout the city. We are growing quickly, and have already achieved great milestones such as sponsoring Service Dogs for Veterans as part of our Dogtopia Foundation. Aside from looking after dogs, we make the daycare experience different by conducting treat days, themed photo days, slumber parties, and more. Thanks to our unique enrollment program, we truly get to know our dogs while they make their BFFF’s (Best Furry Friends Forever!)

All positions at Dogtopia begin by learning the basics. You will master Playroom Management as a Canine Coach, as well as learn at least one other duty such as spa therapist or roving. There are many opportunities for high performers to advance into management roles as we open new locations and grow in the Valley and beyond.

We also offer an additional $1/hr bonus paid out every week as a thank you for helping to continue with the smooth operations of the store, provided your attendance is flawless. We offer paid vacation days each year starting when you reach one full year of employment. All employees must be 18 years or older.

You will:

Supervise playrooms and educate dogs

• Proactively manage a large group of dogs in open play to reinforce good behavior and keep them playing well. This is not just playing with dogs.
• Learn Dogtopia’s positive reinforcement and redirection process for gently addressing undesirable behaviors.
• Engage in stimulating, fun, educational activities and games with the dogs.

Keep the facility safe & healthy

• Keep facility clean at all times (yes, this does mean cleaning up poop).
• Complete cleaning procedures to ensure the long-term cleanliness of the playroom.
• Follow proper protocols with pet-safe cleaning solutions.

You can:

• Be around groups of playing dogs of all sizes
• Spend up to 8 hours standing and walking
• Work flexible days and hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Lift up to 40 pounds
