About Androscoggin Valley Dental
Description
Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations
- Document patient treatment plans, progress, and notes in electronic dental software systems
- Perform dental charting and update patient records accurately
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent patient care
Skills:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in New Hampshire & CPR certification
- Proficient in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Open Dental
- Knowledge of dental coding and insurance billing procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and record-keeping
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Excellent hand-eye coordination for precise dental procedures
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
