Job description:

Overview

Commercial framing company with steady projects is looking to add dependable carpenters and framers to our crew.

Most of our work involves commercial metal stud framing, including building interior wall systems, installing door and window openings, seat plates, and furring walls.

Applicants with residential framing experience are encouraged to apply. We are willing to train motivated carpenters who want to move into commercial metal stud framing.

Duties

• Metal stud / steel stud framing
• Building interior wall systems
• Installing window and door openings
• Installing seat plates
• Furring walls
• Deck framing when required
• Working with a framing crew on commercial projects
• Maintaining a safe and organized job site

REQUIREMENTS

• Construction or framing experience preferred
• Residential framing experience accepted
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Dependable and punctual

TOOLS

Workers should have basic framing hand tools.

Company provides larger tools and equipment on the job site.

WORK LOCATION

Job sites throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
