Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Part-Time, Full-Time

Anchor Within Counseling is looking for a dedicated and fully licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to collaborate with our team. We are a multicultural practice seeking individuals who are eager to contribute their expertise and align with our commitment to prioritizing ethical, practical, and relational mental health care.

Our therapists care about individual and community growth. They support client health and wellness in their work and are passionate to (Responsibilities):

• Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as CBT, MI, BSFT, Narrative, EFT, Family Systems, or the like
• Formulate, update, and manage diagnosis and treatment planning
• Complete risk assessments and provide crisis intervention support as needed
• Collaborate with community, medical, and/or familial systems in service delivery as needed
• Maintain good standing with state boards for continued mental health administration
• Complete timely, concise, and thorough documentation
• May review documentation for interns or associates
• Participate in team meetings
• Maintain service user confidentiality
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Attend team meetings, case consultations, and supervision
• Keep up-to-date with mental health care knowledge through continued education/training

This work is profound, requiring robust foundations (Requirements):

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field
• Unrestricted license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in the state of Oregon for mental health therapy
• Experience conducting and documenting biopsychosocial intake assessments
• Experience assigning diagnosis

Most of our clients have experienced cultural trauma and want to connect with therapists who may understand their origin story (Culturally-Specific Skills Desired):

• Knowledge and ability to serve Black/African, Latino/Hispanic, and/or Native/Indigenous populations from a racial trauma lens
• Ability and willingness to serve clients whom ascribe to spiritual/religious beliefs as protective factors
