The Role
As a FedEx P&D Driver at Anchor Logistics, you will be responsible for transporting packages to and from designated locations. You will ensure that deliveries are made on time while providing excellent customer service. Your role is vital in maintaining the reputation of our logistics services.
What You'll Do
- Operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages safely and efficiently.
- Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring they are handled with care.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and address any inquiries.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while driving.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is preferred but not required.
