Position Overview
The Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new commercial cleaning opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, conducting walkthroughs, and helping grow Ancenta’s client base throughout the St. Louis area.
We are looking for a motivated, professional, and self-driven individual who communicates well, follows up consistently, and represents the company with confidence and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new commercial cleaning opportunities
- Conduct outreach through calls, emails, networking, referrals, and local research
- Schedule and perform facility walkthroughs with potential clients
- Build relationships with property managers, office managers, business owners, schools, and facility directors
- Gather building information needed for accurate proposals and pricing
- Work closely with leadership to develop proposals and service solutions
- Maintain organized sales activity and follow-up within our CRM system (Markate)
- Follow up consistently with leads, proposals, and referral partners
- Represent Ancenta professionally at networking events and business meetings
- Ensure smooth onboarding and transition of new clients to operations
Qualifications Required
- 2+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Comfortable working independently and managing a sales pipeline
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable CRM systems, Google Workspace, and mobile technology
Compensation & Growth
- $40,000 base salary
