Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform non-structural renovations and maintenance across guest rooms, common areas, and exterior spaces, including:
  • Drywall patching and installation
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Flooring installation and repair (e.g., vinyl, laminate, tile)
  • Complete bath remodeling to include removal of old tub, tile and fixtures and installation of new
  • Trim, molding, and hardware installation
  • Light carpentry (e.g., shelving, cabinetry, closet buildouts)
  • Installation of kitchen cabinets, bath vanities and countertops
  • Minor plumbing (e.g., faucet, sink, and toilet replacement)
  • Minor electrical (e.g., fixture and outlet replacement)
  • Assembling furniture and fixtures
  • Upgrade guest-facing amenities and ensure finishes meet hospitality standards
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area with minimal disruption to guests
  • Coordinate with property manager for materials, timelines, and access
  • Maintain tools, materials inventory, and project documentation
  • Respect quiet hours and guest privacy when lodging is occupied
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of facilities maintenance experience
  • Broad skill set in cosmetic and light structural upgrades
  • High attention to detail with a guest-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects on schedule
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and professionalism around guests and staff
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and complete physical tasks safely
  • Preferred:
  • Experience working on hospitality properties, vacation rentals, or guesthouses
  • Basic knowledge of hospitality standards and safety codes
  • Familiarity with soundproofing, weatherproofing, and small space design
  • Work Conditions:
  • On-site work at a small lodging property (e.g., boutique inn, B&B, or vacation rental)
  • May require working while property is occupied—discretion and respect are essential
  • Flexible hours, to include weekends, with potential for extended or repeat work
  • Ability to work outdoors.


Salary

$17 - $19 per hour
