**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a Billing Specialist/Account Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the billing and accounts payable processes. This is a remote work from home position with the opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team at Amgen Inc.
**Responsibilities:**
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices
- Communicate with vendors to address any billing inquiries or issues
- Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or billing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience with remote work is a plus
