JOB DESCRIPTION  

Position: Administrative Coordinator (Marketing and Communications emphasis)  


Report to: Executive Director 


Location: Remote 


Position Summary: 

The Administrative Coordinator performs a wide range of organizational and operational support functions for the national office. This role includes administrative, communications, project coordination, and event planning duties. Responsibilities include managing symposium and other organizational marketing/communications, data and survey coordination, volunteer committee liaison support, and general administrative tasks. Strong skills in Microsoft Office and organizational communication are required. This position reports directly to the Executive Director (ED). 


Responsibilities: 

  • Provide primary phone and email coverage; handle inquiries professionally and efficiently. 
  • Coordinate travel logistics for staff, volunteers, and board members; prepare itineraries and expense reports. 
  • Serve as liaison and administrative support for ACBSP volunteer committees and committee chairs – in particular, the Marketing Committee. 
  • Assist in planning and executing components of the annual ACBSP Symposium including registration, materials, communications, and on-site logistics. 
  • Manage data collection, survey creation and distribution, and reporting for key organizational initiatives. 
  • Assist ED with quality control and data accuracy in membership, certification, and event databases. 
  • Oversee publication order fulfillment and inventory management. 
  • Organize meeting logistics, including facility arrangements, agenda development, and minute taking. 
  • Maintain organized digital and physical files and ensure proper document management. 
  • Monitor off-site storage and inventory systems. 
  • Contribute to internal process improvement and policy documentation. 
  • Perform other related administrative and project duties as assigned. 
  • Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to promote organizational initiatives, including content creation (photography, video, and graphic design) for events such as the annual symposium and exams; manage digital outreach campaigns,


Salary

$20 - $21 per hour
