Escrow Processor

Location: Livonia, Michigan

Pay: $25–$28 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Position Overview

America Safe Title is hiring an organized and detail-oriented Escrow Processor to join our Livonia office. This position supports the escrow team throughout the closing process by preparing files, communicating with lenders and borrowers, reviewing documents, and helping ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Open and process residential refinance and purchase transactions
• Review lender instructions, title commitments, closing disclosures, and supporting documents
• Communicate with lenders, borrowers, notaries, payoff companies, and internal team members
• Order and follow up on payoffs, taxes, homeowner association information, and other required items
• Prepare closing packages and ensure documents are complete before closing
• Confirm borrower funds, wiring instructions, and closing details
• Maintain accurate notes, documents, and task updates within Qualia
• Assist escrow officers with balancing files and resolving outstanding conditions
• Monitor assigned files and meet closing deadlines
• Protect confidential customer and financial information

Qualifications

• Previous title, mortgage, escrow, banking, or real estate experience is preferred
• Escrow processing or title industry experience is strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with lenders, borrowers, and other industry professionals
• Experience with Qualia or similar title software is preferred
• Dependable, accountable, and able to work well with a team
