Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when appropriate.

• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities.

• Observe and report changes in client condition to the CEO or designated supervisor.

• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• May perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, changing bed linens, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.

• Attend all required staff meetings, in-service trainings, and professional development programs.

• Maintain required certifications and complete mandatory continuing education as assigned.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support client care and the operational needs of Amee's Legacy Elevated Care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

• Current automobile insurance.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check & drug screening.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Current CPR and First Aid certification is required before providing direct client care, or certification must be obtained prior to the first day of client care.
