Access Infusion Care is a diversified specialty and infusion pharmacy services provider focused on providing high-quality infusion therapies for patients in the home and suite settings. The Company was formed in January 2024 through the acquisition of AIC North and JLS Infusion Nurse Staffing Services and seeks to acquire high-quality infusion providers in underserved geographies with diversified therapy offerings and delivery settings and outsized growth potential.

Job Summary

The Sr. Accountant will serve a critical role at the branch level as well as the broader corporate organization. The Sr. Accountant will report directly to the General Manager while also collaborating with the Corporate Controller at Access Infusion Care to ensure timely and accurate financial and operational reporting, compliance with accounting principles and company policies, and general process excellence across all facets of the day-to-day operations (intake, billing, collections, etc.). The ideal candidate is highly organized, a strong communicator, proficient in working across multiple systems and technology platforms and cross-functionally with all departments of the organization, and able to manage several workstreams at once. This is a hybrid/flexible full-time position that will likely require 2-3 days a week onsite at the Company’s Gaylord headquarters.



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification preferred, but not required.
  • Additional certifications such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) may be advantageous.


  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SageIntaact, NetSuite), and comfort with other healthcare business software (EMR. billing, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the healthcare industry (e.g., HIPAA, CMS regulations).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Primary Job Duties

  • Assist the Corporate Controller in preparing and maintaining financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in addition to operational reports such as KPI dashboards, billing and cash reconciliations, etc., to assist management in the day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Record journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Process invoices, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and ensure timely payment, collection and recording of funds.
  • Conduct financial and operational analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement, and provide insights to management.
  • Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes led by the Corporate Controller.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, purchasing, intake/billing, and operations, to gather information and support business initiatives.
  • Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and reconciliations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies, including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing, including gathering supporting documentation and liaising with tax professionals.
  • Aid Branch Manager and other personnel with special projects to improve the functionality, efficiency and performance of the overall organization.
