Description

Role Summary:

Volunteer Outreach Assistants support outreach efforts by helping with recruitment, events, and communication. This role works closely with the Outreach Lead and program staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with outreach events, tabling, and community activities
  • Distribute informational materials and answer basic questions
  • Help collect contact information and follow up with potential volunteers
  • Support social media or email outreach efforts (if applicable)
  • Provide logistical support before and during outreach events

  • Friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Willingness to learn and support team efforts
  • Basic communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

SUPPORT & SUPERVISION:

  • Volunteers will be supervised by the [Office Manager / Volunteer Coordinator / Program Director] and provided with orientation and ongoing support.
