Description

Role Summary:

Volunteer Licensed Childcare Providers deliver high-quality childcare services in accordance with licensing standards and organizational policies. This role ensures a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for children.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision for children
  • Coordinate plans to implement age-appropriate activities
  • Ensure compliance with childcare licensing and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate attendance and activity records
  • Communicate effectively with staff and families
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents


Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current childcare license (required)
  • Knowledge of child development and best practices
  • Strong organizational and safety awareness skills
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Background check clearance (required)

SUPPORT & SUPERVISION:

  • Volunteers will be supervised by the [Office Manager / Volunteer Coordinator / Program Director] and provided with orientation and ongoing support.
