Description

Ambassador Physical Therapy is a multi-site private practice committed to delivering exceptional care rooted in faith, integrity, and compassion. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our orthopedic and sports rehabilitation team and help patients restore function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love.


Responsibilities


  • Instruct, motivate, and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities
  • Observe patient responses and communicate progress to the supervising physical therapist
  • Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on home exercises and self-care strategies
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy
  • Uphold all legal, ethical, and HIPAA standards
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and colleagues



Qualifications


  • Associate degree or certification from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current North Carolina PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation software
  • Commitment to lifelong learning ongoing professional development
