We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. Description

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and enhance daily functioning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation, including progress notes and behavior data collection.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistent application of behavior strategies across environments.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to behavioral health practices.
  • Support clients in developing social skills, communication, and coping strategies through structured activities.
  • Monitor client progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising BCBA.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation processes related to behavioral health.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Ability to create and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Proficient in managing medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data collection and reporting.
  • A compassionate approach towards clients, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred.
