Field Support Laborer

Location: Reno, Sparks and Surrounding Areas in NV

Employment Type: Part-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Field Support Laborer to join our team! In this role, you will work closely with our primary welder to assist in the preparation and fusing of gas and waterline piping. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn a skilled trade, and is willing to work outdoors in various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist welder with the setup and fusion/fabrication of gas and waterline pipes.
• Prepare tools, materials, worksite areas, and equipment as directed.
• Handle and transport pipe, fittings, and various construction materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Support field operations as needed, including digging, site clean-up, and equipment staging.
• Learn and apply proper fusion, measurement, and installation techniques under supervision.

Qualifications:

• Quick learner with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical labor (lifting, bending, carrying materials).
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Previous construction or field experience is a plus—but not required. We will train the right person!
