Job Title: Analyst, Database Senior

Location: Columbia, South Carolina (Hybrid with the potential to be fully onsite)

Rate: $68/hr W2 with benefits

Duties:

• Work closely with customers and application architects to solve technical issues and design data structures (40%).
• Support management objectives and translate strategic requirements into usable enterprise information architecture (25%).
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot databases—mentor junior staff on design and performance tuning issues (20%).
• Oversee security awareness programs and disaster recovery readiness across all database management systems (15%).

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in operational data stores, data architectures, and data marts.
• Strong business analysis skills.
• Strong skills in data acquisition and access analysis.
• Able to coach and mentor junior technical staff.
• Strong knowledge of data management programming languages and tools.

Software and Tools:

• Standard office equipment

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another job-related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including varied database administration experience, is required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
