Job Description
Altruic Advisors is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant. This is a hybrid remote/in-person position. Your working hours will typically be split between your home office and our collaborative firm office in Centennial, Colorado.
As a Staff Accountant, you will:
- Support our CFO Solutions team in providing remote accounting services to nonprofit organizations across the United States
- Perform time-sensitive, day-to-day accounting tasks for a wide range of nonprofit clients, including:
- Entering transactions and maintaining general ledgers
- Managing accounts payable
- Processing payroll
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Communicate directly with clients and collaborate with other Altruic Advisors team members to answer questions, respond to requests, and resolve accounting issues
- Provide audit support for clients, including communication with the client’s auditors and fulfilling requests for accounting records or other documentation
- Establish, document, and evaluate internal processes to increase efficiency and ensure an exceptional client experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- One year of recent accounting experience (nonprofit experience is preferred, but not required)
- A strong understanding of GAAP and the ability to consistently apply GAAP principles in day-to-day accounting transactions
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and BILL.com (or a willingness to learn)

The salary range for this position is $68,000-$72,000. Evaluations and any promotions are determined annually.
