Job Description

We are seeking a talented associate 3D Artist to join our dynamic team. Ready to shape the future of gaming? We're looking for someone to help design a massive game world buzzing with smart AI characters. This is your chance to sprinkle your creative touch on a cutting-edge AI-powered game. It's all about making the game more fun and engaging for our players. So, are you up for this thrilling journey? Join us and let's redefine gaming together!

Job Responsibilities

1. Create game-ready, low-poly 3D models for props and environments.
2. Develop visually appealing, cute anime-style NPR textures, shaders, and materials.
3. Build character rigs and animations.
4. Sculpt and retopologize organize models in 3D sculpting software.
5. Enhance graybox levels in Unity and environment propping, texture adjustments, and contribute to the creation of final game scenes.
6. Work collaboratively with other environment and character artists to ensure a cohesive visual style throughout the game.
7. Understand the game's vision, actively participate in playtesting, and effectively navigate game environments using Game Engine (Unity / Unreal 5) for debugging.

Requirements:

1. Demonstrate an eye for color, detail, and hand-painted textures.
2. Proficiency in creating stylized, game-ready models and textures using 3D software such as Blender or Maya.
3. Strong understanding of how to optimize topology and textures for games; including baking, uv packing, and use of triangles
4. Familiarity with integrating art assets into a commercial 3D Unity game engine.
5. Open to receiving and integrating feedback to continually improve your work.

Bonus Skills/Experience:

1. Prior experience in the game industry, whether indie or AAA.
2. Experience working with mobile games.
3. Technical skills in Unity; such as lighting, lightmap baking, shader graph, scripting, and optimization tools.
4. Other areas of expertise in the games pipeline; such as 2D concepts, UI design, vfx, sfx, rigging, and animation.
5. Passion for AI, sci-fi, anime, escape room games, or horror games.
