Our Values

Alter is about growth and change for the better — in our hearts, minds, and bodies, and also in our conversations, relationships, and communities. We act with integrity: we do what we say we are going to do when we say we’re going to do it, and hold everyone to the highest standards. Whether it’s a defined six-pack or a defined start time, details matter. We are thoughtful about our choices, and we aim to delight. We are wildly curious, always seeking new ideas, technology, and perspectives. We believe everyone can be and feel fit, healthy, and sexy, in whatever ways matter to them, and we create an environment in which that can flourish. Humor is a key to a healthy, well-lived life, and we seek to make each other smile and laugh. We are in community with and for each other: coaching, sharing, and learning are our ways of life. We seek more: not only more health, success, wealth, strength, fitness, but also more knowledge, understanding, questions, answers, kindness, justice, and love.
