About Alter

Alter is a new indoor/outdoor fitness club in the heart of West Hollywood’s walkable Design District. We limit our total membership to help manage overcrowding and create a tight-knit community. We have 24/7 indoor gym access; an outdoor rooftop gym with 360º views; a group fitness studio with a stunning 50ft hi-res video wall and an array of innovative classes; beautiful design and architecture; and a protein-forward cafe with flavors and products you won’t find anywhere else. We offer personal training, group fitness, physical therapy, education seminars, nutrition counseling, and body composition analysis, among other amenities.

We are looking for an assistant to the founders to help with both work and personal tasks. We have a preference for someone that has other responsibilities (another job, school, a child, etc.) that is looking for supplemental income. We are flexible on the arrangement, and ask that you are as well. We've had this arrangement with other assistants in the past and it worked out really well, so we're hoping we can replicate that!

Executive Assistant Requirements:

• Our ideal candidate:has had a few years of experience as an assistant
• has the highest degree of personal integrity
• is an independent self-starter and can kick things off with limited input
• has excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills
• is tenacious about following up
• has a car and is licensed to drive

Executive Assistant Responsibilities:

• Organizing meetings and appointments
• Research (finding new service providers or products)
• Filing, processing incoming mail, paying bills
• Taking the dog to vet or groomers
• Errands, package returns, shopping
• Be available to meet contractors or deliveries
• Follow up with vendors
