We're looking for a Product Manager to own AlphaSignal Pro end to end — defining what goes behind the paywall, building the free-to-paid conversion experience, and shipping the features that make engineers and AI practitioners want to subscribe.
AlphaSignal pioneered the first fully automated AI newsroom and has become a trusted daily source for 320,000+ developers, engineers, researchers, and technical leaders. We publish six days a week and cover the companies, products, research, and ideas shaping AI.
Now we are building the intelligence layer for the AI industry: a real-time product that connects news, companies, people, products, research, repositories, and market signals so users can understand what is happening, why it matters, and what to watch next.
Think Bloomberg Terminal's information density, Hugging Face's developer ecosystem, Product Hunt's discovery/community, and Perplexity's AI-native research experience, built specifically for AI engineers and CTO's.
You will own the core AlphaSignal product from discovery through launch and iteration. You will work directly with the founders, engineering, editorial, and design to decide what we build, define how it works, and turn complex information into a product that feels clear, fast, and indispensable.
You will spend time with AI engineers, researchers, founders, investors, and technical leaders; translate their research and monitoring workflows into product decisions; and ship experiences they use every week.
This is not a role for someone who has only optimized mature products or owned a narrow feature within a large team. AlphaSignal is bootstrapped, resourceful, and building its core product from zero to one. You will help create the entire product from scratch, make decisions with incomplete information, and turn rough ideas into useful experiences without a large team or unlimited resources. If you need an established playbook, a fully defined roadmap, or layers of support to ship, this will not be the right fit.
We care about products you have shipped, not titles. Be prepared to walk through a product you owned end to end, the user problem, the tradeoffs you made, how you worked with engineering and design, what you measured, what failed, and what changed because of your work.
