AllSet Home LLC Plumber Pasco, WA · Full time Company website

$35–$45/hour DOE, plus 16–18% commission on the service work you complete. You're paid your hourly or your commission, whichever is bigger, every pay period (5th and 20th). The hourly is a floor, and nobody claws it back. I started AllSet Home because good tradesmen deserve to be paid like the skilled people they are. If you're a careful plumber who does it right, tells homeowners the truth about their house and doesn't need a script, you'll fit in here. There are no quotas and no upsell contests. You get a company van, gas card, tablet, uniforms, major tools and paid training toward your next license. You'll need a WA Journey Level Plumber (PL01) certificate, or a current Plumber Trainee card with real residential service experience. You'll also need a valid license and a driving record we can insure, and you must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces and attics. Apply here, then take the 8-minute Culture Index survey so I can put you where you'll win. Applications without the survey won't get in front of me.

About AllSet Home LLC

AllSet Home is part of a portfolio led by operators who've already done what most home services owners only talk about. Multiple companies grown into nine-figure businesses. A track record of taking trades operations from a single truck to dominant regional brands. The playbook is proven, the capital is in place, and the team behind this is the same group writing the book the rest of the industry is trying to copy.

Tri-Cities is the next market. You'd be one of the first techs in the door.

That means the work you do now, the customers you win, the reputation you build, becomes the foundation everything stacks on top of. Day-one techs in markets like this don't stay techs for long. They become the Service Managers, the Field Supervisors, the regional leaders that newer hires look up to two years from now.

If you want to be that person, this is the seat.

Description

Plumbing Service Technician

AllSet Home — Pasco, WA Full-time, W-2 | $35–$45/hour DOE + commission | $75,000–$140,000+ per year

Let me be straight with you.

Most plumbing companies will tell you they're "like a family." Then they hand you a van with 240,000 miles on it, pay you $28 an hour, and act surprised when you ask about a raise.

That's not what this is.

I started AllSet Home because I got tired of watching good tradesmen get treated like labor instead of like the skilled people they actually are. You're the one standing in the customer's home. You're the one they trust. You should get paid like it, and you should get the time to do the job right.

Here's the deal.

You're paid your hourly or your commission, whichever is greater. Every single pay period.

The hourly is a floor, not a loan. If you have a slow two weeks, you keep the hourly and nobody claws it back later. I've seen too many shops dress up a draw as a "guarantee" and then quietly take it out of a guy's next good month. We don't do that.

  • $35–$45/hour depending on your certification and what you bring
  • 16–18% commission on collected revenue from service work you complete yourself
  • 3% on install leads you hand off that turn into a closed job
  • Hit a higher tier mid-month and the higher rate applies to everything you did that month, going backward
  • Paid on the 5th and the 20th

Your monthly revenue

Your rate

$0 – $75,000 16%

$75,001 – $97,000 17%

$97,001+ 18%

Round numbers: you beat the hourly somewhere around $38,000–$49,000 a month in your own revenue. A tech who does good, thorough work clears that and keeps going. No quotas, no scripts, no upsell contests. The pay rules are written down, they're the same for everybody, and you'll know exactly how your check is figured.

What I'm actually looking for.

I can teach a lot of things. I can't teach somebody to care about doing it right.

The tech I want is the one who fixes the water heater and then walks the crawlspace because he's curious. Notices the furnace is making a sound it shouldn't. Mentions the panel looks original to the house. Not because somebody handed him a script, but  because he takes pride in his work, he cares about the family living there, and he knows what he's looking at.

You don't have to be a talker. You have to be honest. Explain what you found, what the options are, and what you'd do if it were your house. Then let the homeowner decide.

That guy makes homeowners feel taken care of. He also out-earns everybody else on the truck. Those two things are not a coincidence, and they never have been.

If you're the kind of tech who cuts corners to get to the next call, you won't fit here. If you'd rather do it once and do it right, we should talk.

What you need.

  • Washington Journey Level Plumber (PL01) certificate, or a current Plumber Trainee card with real residential service experience
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record we can insure
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in crawlspaces, attics, and the other places nobody photographs
  • The ability to look a homeowner in the eye and tell them the truth about their house

What you get.

  • Company van, gas card, and tablet
  • Uniforms and the major tools
  • Paid training and help getting your next license
  • Washington paid sick leave
  • Standard 40 hours, with overtime when the work's there. Some weeks run heavy, some run light — that's the trade, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.

How to apply.

  1. Take the Culture Index survey — about 8 minutes: https://surveys.cultureindex.com/s/3Qrzj0PS2m/128432

The survey isn't a personality test I'm using to screen you out. It tells me how you're wired so I can put you where you'll actually win. If you only do step one, your application won't get in front of me.

Looking forward to meeting you.
