In addition to crafting beautiful design solutions from new-to-world CPG to luxury hospitality, Allis is seeking an insatiable Design Director in our New York Studio to help define processes, build team structure and establish studio goals. Working alongside the leadership team, the Design Director will be at the forefront of growth at the NY Studio and beyond.



  • Create compelling design solutions from original creative narratives across a diverse set of mediums; from print, packaging, interactive, signage and environmental.
  • Help establish and achieve broader studio goals alongside a leadership team. This includes building relationships with design talent, vendors, printers, photographers and more.
  • Work with Creative Director to foster connection and culture amongst the creative team.
  • Mentor and lead a boutique team of senior and junior designers on both East and West coasts to concept and create identity systems that align with a defined brand strategy.
  • Confidently present creative directions and concepts to the team, as well as our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with account teams, strategists, designers, writers, developers and production vendors.
  • Concept, pitch, and art direct photo and video shoots alongside an agency producer.
  • Execute on multiple projects from concept to completion.


  • Demonstrate professional growth in a graphic design role in an agency or in-house environment for 6+ years.
  • At least 2 years of directing a team across other creative disciplines.
  • Portfolio includes creative solutions with polish and craft within premium markets.
  • Portfolio showcases fluency in building brand platforms and compelling identity systems.
  • Proficient in Adobe CC Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Experience in, or interest in learning motion design, animations and 3D software. (Blender, C4D, After Effects, etc.)
  • Print production/pre-press knowledge. Experience working with vendors, establishing print specs and attending press checks.
  • A fundamental understanding of digital and interactive mediums. Design-forward approaches to brands in the digital space. Experience working with developers and creative annotations for interactive functionality. (Proficient in Figma)


$120,000 - $150,000 per year
