Position Summary
This is not a desk-only position.
The Guest Services Associate / Spa Attendant plays an important role in supporting both guest services and daily spa operations. Team members actively assist with front desk responsibilities, appointment scheduling, room preparation, laundry, cleaning, and creating an outstanding experience for every guest.
We are looking for someone who enjoys staying productive, works well with a team, and is willing to help wherever needed to keep the spa operating smoothly.
Responsibilities
Guest Services & Front Desk
- Welcome guests professionally and warmly
- Check guests in and out efficiently
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with scheduling
- Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments
- Process payments and gift card transactions
- Provide information regarding spa services, memberships, products, and promotions
- Support membership sales and renewals
- Recommend retail products when appropriate
- Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after each visit
Spa Operations
- Prepare treatment rooms before appointments
- Reset and turn over treatment rooms between services
- Restock linens, towels, robes, refreshments, and supplies
- Assist therapists and spa staff during busy periods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional spa environment
- Support spa events, promotions, and marketing activities as needed
Laundry & Housekeeping
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize spa linens and towels
- Maintain laundry room cleanliness and organization
- Clean and sanitize treatment rooms and common areas
- Monitor spa presentation throughout the day
- Help maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
Qualifications
Required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to learn scheduling and spa software
- Weekend availability required
Preferred
- Additional language skills are a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, or other languages)
- Experience in spa, salon, hospitality, hotel, medical office, retail, or customer service environments
- Experience answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Experience with POS systems and payment processing
- Sales or membership enrollment experience
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and ChatGPT
