Position Summary All Ether LLC is hiring a Lead Technician with strong CCTV and IT systems experience to support our national video surveillance service contracts. This is a hands-on role that blends technical fieldwork with remote troubleshooting and systems support. You will serve as the primary technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining video surveillance and low-voltage systems across a variety of secured sites. This role requires someone who can lead in the field, support ticket-based troubleshooting from the office, and be flexible as project demands shift. We need a technician who can do it all—lead jobs on-site and solve problems remotely.

Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead installations and service of CCTV systems, structured cabling, access control, and low-voltage infrastructure
  • Remotely diagnose and resolve issues with IP cameras, NVRs, Milestone VMS, and network equipment
  • Manage service tickets using internal ticketing system: logging, updating, and closing with clear documentation
  • Perform network configurations, including switch setups, PoE device management, and IP troubleshooting
  • Coordinate directly with PMs to ensure proper scope execution, timelines, and client expectations
  • Maintain and update documentation for installations, repairs, and system configs
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for both on-site teams and client-side IT/security staff
  • Train and guide junior technicians during installs and troubleshooting
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and industry standards

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of hands-on field experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, or CCTV installations
  • 2+ years of IT support experience focused on surveillance systems and network troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Milestone XProtect or other VMS platforms
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve camera, NVR, VMS, and network issues without supervision
  • Experience installing and managing CAT5e/CAT6, fiber optic, and coaxial cabling
  • Familiarity with IP addressing, PoE switches, VLANs, and device provisioning
  • Strong documentation, communication, and client-facing professionalism
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks for secure sites
  • Must be based in Nashville, TN, or willing to relocate
  • Ready to travel local and nationwide as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Milestone Systems certification
  • OSHA 10 or 30
  • Experience with access control systems and integrations
