All Ether, a rapidly growing telecom contractor based in Tennessee, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Technician to join our team. If you’re skilled in installing conduit, Cat6 cabling, and security camera systems and are willing to travel 5 days a week, this role could be an excellent fit for you. As a part of our team, you’ll work on various high-impact projects across Tennessee, including prison security system upgrades and commercial telecom installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead on-site installations, from conduit and cabling to complex security systems, ensuring each project meets quality standards and is completed efficiently.
  • Technical Installation: Install, terminate, and test Cat6 cabling, security cameras, and associated infrastructure, including structured telecom cabling, fire alarm systems, and other low-voltage projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle technical challenges independently, with the support of our project management team, to ensure seamless installations in secure environments.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Willingness to travel Monday through Friday to various sites across Tennessee, including correctional facilities, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to dynamic project requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with structured cabling, conduit installation, or security systems.
  • Strong technical understanding of Cat6, low-voltage installations, and structured cabling.
  • Proven experience in demanding environments (e.g., prisons, government facilities) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently manage time on site, and complete projects to a high standard.
  • Willingness to travel and work in secure settings, with a strong sense of professionalism and reliability.
