Aliso Dermatology is a new and growing dermatology clinic dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and building strong connections with our community.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Assist the dermatologist with surgical procedures (skin cancer surgery, excisions, biopsies).
• Provide RN-level support for injections, wound care, medication administration, and patient education.
• Perform pre-op, post-op, and triage assessments.
• Review pathology results and help coordinate follow-up.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare procedure rooms.

Patient Flow & Support

• Room patients efficiently while ensuring a warm, welcoming experience.
• Take accurate medical histories, vitals, and intake information.
• Assist with clinic flow to keep the day running smoothly and on time.

Clinical Leadership & Compliance

• Support quality initiatives including MIPS requirements (tobacco cessation, melanoma history, advance directives).
• Help maintain clinical protocols, logs, and compliance (OSHA, CLIA-waived testing, emergency medications, etc.)
• Participate in training Medical Assistants on clinical competencies.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license required.
• Dermatology, surgical, or outpatient experience preferred (but not required).
• Strong communication skills and a calm, steady demeanor.
• Comfortable with procedures, patient education, and fast-paced clinical days.
• Willingness to grow with a new practice and contribute ideas.
