Role Overview
The Esthetician will provide medical and cosmetic skincare services under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist. This role blends hands-on treatments, patient education, and support of clinical workflows to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform medical-grade esthetic treatments such as facials, chemical peels, acne treatments, and post-procedure skincare (as permitted by scope of practice)
- Educate patients on skincare regimens, product usage, and treatment plans
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness and infection-control standards
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care as directed
- Document treatments and patient interactions accurately in the medical record
- Support retail skincare sales in an ethical, patient-first manner
- Collaborate with dermatology providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Requirements
- Active California Esthetician License (required)
- Experience in a medical or dermatology setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and treatment protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor with a focus on patient comfort and safety
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Compensation Structure: Base hourly pay plus commission on eligible services and skincare product sales.
