Our busy medically integrated clinic is growing each day, and we are seeking an experienced and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This position has a base hourly rate plus opportunities for commission based on new patient generation.
In the role, the Front Desk Receptionist will work under the direction of our Office Manager to assist in administrative tasks. If you have experience working in an administrative role at a healthcare practice, we want to hear from you!
Front Desk Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Greet patients at front desk
- Answer phones, check voicemails, return calls
- Verify patient insurance
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments to optimize patient satisfaction and facility efficiency
- Make appointment reminder calls to new and existing patients
- Record and update patients' personal and financial information
- Create and update patients' health records
- Keep accurate log of patient payments/clinic revenue
- Keep accurate notes in practice management software of all correspondence with patients and clinicians
- Gather data to help produce ROI reports
- Maintain total confidentiality of personal and financial data
- Fully understand and explain financial responsibility to patients
- Complete and send end of day/week/month reporting to management
- Basic training in patient care such as stretches/exercises, reading treatment plans, and learning traction equipment use
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Strong organization skills
- Able to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality
- Professional and courteous in tone and information delivery
- 2+ years' experience in an administrative role at a healthcare practice
- Excellent customer service skills
